Dinner Is In The Jar
So we bring our jars, green beans, rice, chicken bouillon, potato flakes and powdered milk and end up with these fantastic meals. This idea came from a book called, what else?.... Dinner Is In The Jar, by Kathy Clark.
I ordered mine from Amazon...super easy.
With a little planning we gathered up our stuff, and put together 3 Shepard's Mix, requiring two jars. Then came 6 Hawaiian Haystack mix, and 6 Tortilla Soup Mix. It was our first time through this exercise, so it probably took a bit longer than it should with the 4 of us. We each filled 18 jars in 2.5 hours. Pretty nifty, and not very hard.
