YW Camp Glazed Donuts
Mix well:
½ cup margarine
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
Add:
2 cups prepared instant potaoes
1 quart. scalded milk, cooled
7 tablespoons yeast dissolved in 1 cup water
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon vanilla
Approximately 10 cups flour
Let the dough rise for 20 to 20 minutes. Pour out 1/3 of the dough at a time and pat out to ¼ inch. Cut with donut cutter. Let rise until light. About 30 minutes. Deep fry in hot oil. Then glaze.
Glaze
1 lbs powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
Dash of salt
